AbbeyCross expands senior team, appoints ex-American Express VP of FX & Global Payments as Chief Commercial Officer. London, November 2023:
AbbeyCross, the world’s first wholesale FX platform focused on improving the payment market infrastructure for Emerging Market currencies, has appointed Olann Kerrison as Chief Commercial Officer based in London.
Olann joins AbbeyCross with 15 years of experience in the Foreign Exchange market and cross-border payments sectors. Most recently, Olann was the Vice President of FX and Global Payments at American Express where he was responsible for product management, development, supplier relationships and FX trading in the cross-border payment product area. While there, he developed and launched a new, integrated, real-time bank transfer platform – American Express Global Pay – and led the evolution of the FX International Payments (FXIP) strategy across five markets globally.
Prior to this, Olann was Vice President of FX and Global Payments at Worldpay and Head of Product Management at Moneycorp. Originally from Ireland, Kerrison graduated from Tufts University in the US.
