Product Manager – London, UK

‍Role description
We are a venture-backed fintech founded in 2021.  We work with global banks and money services businesses, providing market data and analytics and an FX trading and payment initiation platform.  

We have ambitious plans and this role will be an important part of our future vison. We are seeking a Product Manager on a full-time basis or 6 to 12-months contract to help drive AbbeyCross’s next phase of growth. This role reports to the Head of Product and will play a key part in managing our client and partner pipeline while shaping one strategic initiative.  

The role is suited to a hands-on, commercially minded product leader who thrives in lean, dynamic environments and can balance client-facing work with structured product strategy and delivery.

This will include:

• Client and partner engagement

• Support active client integrations and ensure successful delivery across market data, FX execution and payment workflows

• Engage directly with partners and clients to gather feedback, identify opportunities, and prioritise product improvements

• Collaborate with Commercial and Engineering teams to ensure seamless onboarding and go-live readiness

• Product Strategy and Delivery

• Lead product discovery, pre-validation, and roadmap definition for one key strategic area

• Develop clear, data-backed business cases to support prioritisation and investment decisions

• Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic goals

• Work closely with engineering to deliver product enhancements efficiently and iteratively

Required skills, experience and qualifications

• A minimum 4-6 years’ experience in cross-border payments, MSBs, or emerging payment technology such as stablecoin on / off ramps

• Strong communication and organisational skills, with a collaborative and structured approach

• Deep experience of the product development life cycle

• Proven ability to work in fluid, fast-paced startup or scale-up environments.

• Demonstrated track record of client-facing product management, including translating client needs into actionable product plans

• Hands-on experience with product discovery, delivery, and execution planning

• Proven experience working with payment platforms and payment APIs

• Exposure to stablecoins, crypto exchanges, or on/off-ramp payment infrastructure would be a plus, especially with an understanding of their relevance to cross-border payments
